Roogoo Card: Payment Guidelines & Risk Control Mitigation

To ensure smooth transactions and minimize the risk of being flagged by payment platforms or merchants, please carefully read the following recommendations.

1. Core Security & Risk Management

  • Privacy Protection: Keep your card number, cardholder name, expiry date, and CVV/CVC secure. This is essential for fund security and is a key factor in reducing merchant-side security blocks.

  • Operation Frequency: Avoid frequent binding and unbinding of your card. Such irregular behavior is highly likely to trigger risk control systems.

  • Prevent Declines: Ensure sufficient balance before making a purchase. Promptly cancel unwanted subscriptions to avoid Decline Fees and potential credit risks caused by repeated payment failures.

2. Account & Network Environment Restrictions

  • One Card, One Account: Many merchants (e.g., Telegram, OpenAI) restrict a single card to one account. If you need to manage multiple accounts, please apply for additional cards.

  • Regional Consistency: If you encounter errors during subscription, ensure your network IP matches the country/region of your account. We recommend using TUN mode.

  • IP Quality: Merchants strictly monitor IP integrity for "$0 trials" or high-discount promotions. Avoid using shared, high-risk IPs to prevent payment rejections.

3. Guidelines for WeChat Pay & Alipay

  • Recommended Platforms: Due to WeChat’s stringent and frequently changing risk protocols, we prioritize recommending Alipay (Mainland), AlipayHK, or WeChat Pay HK.

  • Transaction Limits: Both Alipay and WeChat Pay impose spending limits on international cards. Please refer to their official documentation for specific limits.

  • Troubleshooting (Network Error/Blank Pages): If you see a "Network Error" when binding your card, it is likely a temporary risk block caused by frequent IP switching. We suggest waiting a few days and isolating your VPN environment from domestic apps.

  • Binding Limits: Alipay currently limits each user to 5 international cards. While WeChat has no explicit limit, you may contact their support if binding fails.

4. Account Restrictions & Solutions

If you receive the error "Account currently does not support adding international cards," this is a restriction from the third-party platform (Alipay/WeChat), not an issue with your Roogoo Card.

Solutions:

  1. Follow the platform's prompts to upload your authentic identity information and required photos.

  2. Regarding Card Photos: If you are asked to provide a photo of your card, log into Roogoo on another device, navigate to the "Card Number" page, and take a photo of that screen directly.
