Authentication app verification codes are generated by third-party dynamic password tools. They work similarly to SMS verification, generating a new dynamic verification code every 30 seconds after binding. These codes can be used for secure verification during login, withdrawals, security setting modifications, and other operations.

Authentication applications (Authenticators) are particularly important for protecting your accounts and digital assets. If malicious individuals steal your password, they still need to pass the authentication app verification to operate your account. This greatly increases the difficulty for criminals to break into your account. You can bind an authentication app on the Roogoo App to protect your account and asset security.

I. Download and Install an Authentication App

We currently support various authenticators including: Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, and more. You can choose and install the application that best suits your needs.

1. Download and Install within the Roogoo App

Open the Roogoo App, click the [All Features] icon in the upper left corner → [Profile and Settings] → [Security Settings] → [Authentication App] → Choose to download Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.

2. Download through App Store or Google Play

For iPhone users, search for "Google Authenticator" or "Microsoft Authenticator" in the App Store and download. Note: Apple version requires an overseas Apple ID to download.

For Android users, search for "Google Authenticator" or "Microsoft Authenticator" in Google Play (requires device access to Google services).

Android users can download from Google Play (requires device access to Google services), or from major app stores such as Huawei AppGallery, Xiaomi App Store, OPPO App Market, VIVO App Store, etc. If your phone's app store doesn't have Microsoft Authenticator, you can first download any of the above major app stores, then download the authenticator.

II. Binding Authentication App on Roogoo App

After successfully downloading and installing the authentication app, you can proceed with binding, but first you need to complete email and mobile verification.

1. Add Account

Scan the QR code displayed in the Roogoo App with your authentication app (recommended), or copy the key and paste it into your authentication app. You can name the account for distinction.

(1) Google Authenticator

(2)Microsoft Authenticator

2. Enter the New Verification Code to Complete Binding

Check the latest verification code displayed by the authenticator, click to copy, and input (or paste) it into the authentication app verification code form to complete the binding.

Note:

  • Please keep your private key safe to avoid being unable to log in due to changing or losing your phone.

  • To ensure your fund security, withdrawals are not permitted within 24 hours after resetting the Google verification code.

III. How to Use the Authentication App?

Open the authentication app, find and copy the corresponding verification code, then paste it into the page requiring authentication app verification code (such as login/withdrawal pages).

IV. How to Modify the Authentication App?

Open the Roogoo App homepage, click the icon in the upper right corner to enter the personal center → [Security Settings] → [Authentication App] (Google);

Select [Modify Authentication App] → copy the key, open the authentication app (Google) authenticator to complete the addition → [Next] → enter [Mobile Verification Code] and [New Authentication App] verification code, click [Submit] to complete.

Friendly Reminder:

  • If the authentication app cannot be used, please contact customer service or submit a ticket promptly!

  • Please keep your private key safe to avoid being unable to log in due to changing or losing your phone. For your fund security, C2C coin selling and withdrawals are not permitted within 24 hours after resetting the authentication app.
