Roogoo Card Fund Management: Top-up, Withdrawal, and Spending

Updated this week

Roogoo Card operates on a "Card Top-up Model" (rather than shared account balance). Each card functions as an independent account with physically isolated funds, designed to provide comprehensive security for your other cards and overall assets.

I. Topping Up Your Card

Step 1: Deposit into Your Asset Account

Transfer USDT into your Roogoo Asset Account via blockchain networks.

  • Supported Currencies: Currently, only USDT from your Asset Account can be used for top-ups. Support for USDC and other mainstream stablecoins is coming soon.

  • Network Selection: We recommend using networks with lower transaction fees (such as BSC, etc.). Roogoo is expanding its support for more low-cost blockchain networks.

  • Beginner’s Tip: If you are unfamiliar with on-chain transfers, we recommend purchasing USDT through mainstream exchanges. Please refer to our [Detailed Tutorial] first.

Alternative Deposit Methods:

  • Internal Transfers: Support for free, instant fund transfers between Roogoo users.

  • Convenient Channels: You can search for "Roogoo" on major e-commerce or second-hand platforms to obtain top-up gift vouchers or "Red Packets."

Step 2: Transfer to Card

  • Path: Go to the "Card" page ➔ "Top-up" page.

  • Conversion Logic: The system automatically converts USDT (Stablecoin) to USD (Fiat) and deposits it into your card. The process typically takes 1-5 minutes.

  • Fee Schedule: Currently, all Roogoo cards feature zero top-up fees and zero currency conversion fees.

II. Fund Withdrawals and Reserve Rules

  • Withdrawal Path: Go to the "Card" page ➔ "Top-up" page, and click the "Swap" button in the middle. This allows you to transfer your card's USD balance back to your Asset Account (converting it back to USDT).

  • Minimum Reserve Rule: A minimum balance of 10 USDT must be maintained on the card.

    • Note: This 10 USDT is NOT frozen; you can still use it for your daily purchases and payments.

III. Global Spending Scenarios

  • Wide Compatibility: You can bind your card to major payment platforms or online merchants. It supports the vast majority of global payment scenarios and subscription services (e.g., ChatGPT, Netflix, etc.).

  • Automatic Exchange: During a transaction, the bank will automatically convert USD into the local currency for settlement.
