Roogoo Card Fee Structure
Currently, depositing USDT and other stablecoins to Roogoo incurs 0% conversion fees (top-up fees) for USDT/USDC to USD.
Transaction Fees:
Processing Fees and Cross-border Fees:
Enjoy Life Card: 1% per transaction, 1.6% cross-border fee for non-USD transactions, 0% cross-border fee for USD transactions;
Infinity Card: 1.6% per transaction, 0% cross-border fee;
Premier Card: 1% per transaction, 1.6% cross-border fee for non-USD transactions, 0% cross-border fee for USD transactions;
Deposit & Withdrawal: Network fees (Gas fees) apply based on your chosen blockchain network. Roogoo charges no additional deposit or withdrawal fees.
Refund Fee: The bank charges a refund processing fee of 2-3% of the refund amount for consumption refunds.
Chargeback Fee: Fees charged by the bank for failed transactions due to insufficient card balance or transaction reversals, ranging from 2-5% of the transaction amount depending on the chargeback rate. Minimum fee: $0.01 USD; Maximum fee: $100 USD.
Transaction Reversal Fee: A fee of 1 USD per transaction applies to reversals of transactions exceeding 5 USD.
Transaction Dispute Handling Fee: 50 USD. If a transaction dispute is filed with the merchant and the payment platform, requiring the bank to process the dispute, a 50 USD transaction handling fee will be charged per transaction regardless of the outcome.
Important: When using your Roogoo Card, avoid transactions that exhaust your entire balance, as this may leave insufficient funds to cover commission fees and potential currency conversion charges, resulting in failed transactions.
WeChat Pay/Alipay: For all foreign cards, transactions exceeding 200 RMB incur an additional 3% fee charged by these platforms (not by Roogoo).
Roogoo Card Cross-Border Exchange Rates
Exchange rates are one of the primary concerns for users when making cross-border transactions. Roogoo Card uses real-time bank exchange rates for settlement, which are very close to Google's quoted rates (±0.2-0.3%). The exchange rate is clearly displayed in the transaction details—fully transparent with no hidden fees.
For small-amount transactions, some exchange rate display discrepancies due to calculation precision are normal. Since the bank's minimum settlement amount with merchants is 0.01 USD, small payments may show rate deviations due to rounding precision.
Example: If the CNY to USD exchange rate is 0.1412, the equivalent USD to CNY rate is 7.0821 (the rate displayed on your statement). If you pay 29.69 CNY, the actual calculation is: 29.69 × 0.1412 = 4.192228 USD. The bank rounds to 2 decimal places, so the actual settlement amount is 4.20 USD.
