Roogoo Cards use a card-specific top-up model rather than a shared account balance system, designed to protect user fund security.

Card Top-Up Currency

Roogoo currently only supports USDT stablecoin top-ups, with future support planned for USDC and other market-accepted stablecoins.

For users unfamiliar with cryptocurrency or blockchain basics, we recommend first learning fundamental blockchain and on-chain transfer concepts. We also recommend purchasing USDT stablecoins through cryptocurrency exchanges.

Card Top-Up Process

Step 1: Asset Account Deposit

Transfer your cryptocurrency stablecoins via on-chain deposit to your asset account. You can also receive funds from other Roogoo users through internal transfers. We recommend using low-fee networks for deposits, and will soon integrate even lower-cost blockchain networks.

Step 2: Card Top-Up

You can find the top-up page on your card interface. Card top-ups are free. We recommend users top up based on their individual needs. Asset account balances earn 4%+ flexible savings yield, while card balances do not earn interest.

Card Balance Withdrawal

You can access the withdrawal function on the card top-up page - there's a conversion button in the middle that allows both top-ups and balance withdrawals.

Card balance withdrawal requires maintaining a minimum of 10 USD. This 10 USD can be fully spent until the balance reaches zero.

About Card Cancellation

We Do Not Recommend Card Cancellation. Reasons Why We Advise Against Cancellation:

  • Extended refund processing time: Balance refunds require a lengthy period (Le Xiang Life Card: 1-month freeze; other cards: depends on bank processing timeline)

  • Reopening fees: If you open the same card again in the future, the second card activation fee is currently 4.99 USD

Balance Handling Upon Card Cancellation:

After canceling the card, a fee of 4.99 USD (the waived card activation fee) and the cashback received during card activation will be deducted from the card balance and refunded to the user's fund account. If the balance is insufficient to cover the card activation fee and cashback, no refund will be issued.

Card Cancellation Process:

  1. Contact customer service to request card cancellation

  2. Verify user information

  3. Card freeze period (Le Xiang Life Card: 1-month freeze; other cards: subject to bank processing timeline)

  4. Card cancellation and balance refund

Our Recommendation:

If you no longer wish to use the card, we recommend:

  • Transfer out your available balance to your funding account

  • Spend any non-transferable balance through normal transactions until the balance is very close to 0

  • Then deactivate or cancel the card

Additional benefit: Keeping your card allows you to switch to other card products that may be more suitable for your needs.
